Rescue & Referral

Rape is the only crime in which the victim is double violated first by the entire crime and then the society; it is the only crime by which religion, culture and the attitudes of the society turns against the victim (Survivor).

Upon report, Survivor is promptly assisted and referred to the closest comprehensive Primary Health care Centre or rape referral centre such as Mirabel or Warrif to receive medical examination.

These institutions have been equipped with Sexual Assault Evidence Collection kits, also known as rape kits. The Survivor is then assisted in reporting at the nearest police station for further investigations and help in facilitating the arrest of the suspect.
The suspect is duly charged to court through the help of the Nigeria Police.
